  • The U111 provides a solution for customers who have purchased a 16-bit 3G (HSDPA, UmTS, EDGE, GPRS) PCMCIA broadband/modem card from their local network provider and wish to connect the card via a USB slot. This product can be used with laptops and desktop PCs.

  • USB Interface
  • Uses a low power high performance micro-controller to convert the USB protocol to PCMCIA card read/write access
  • External Power Supply option for high current cards (normally not required)
  • NOTE: If your card includes a Wireless LAN (802.11) connection, this is not supported via the U111.
  • NOTE: Unless listed on the "Supported Cards" list, all OTHER types of PCMCIA cards - including memory cards - are NOT supported.

    • Use your 3G Merlin or Aircard UMTS card via a USB slot with the Elan U111 Interface Adapter

Program / Software Information

    • Supplied with software drivers for Windows 2000 and XP. The same drivers work in 32-bit (x86) Windows Vista. There are no drivers for 64-bit (x64) Vista.
